Submissions

The Author's Choice page is about which stories the writers like best, not your fans.
So pick the story that makes you most proud.

Restrictions
All stories must be X-Files male/male slash.
Stories may have some het content, but very little or no MSR.
Crossovers are discouraged, because the readership is so small.
Only one story per author.
If you co-write, you may also select one co-written story.

How to Submit
Louise Wu maintains this page.
Send an email to her:
with the following information:
  1. story title
  2. link (must go directly to story or page devoted to the story)
  3. publication date (month/year or just year)
  4. 50 words or less on why it's your favorite
Submissions over 50 words will be returned to the author for shortening.

Questions
Can I change my favorite story?
Yes. Just submit the new one, and I'll replace the previous one.

Am I supposed to select a story from this year?
No. Select your favorite story from your complete body of works.

What should I say in my 50 words?
Tell us why it's your personal favorite, how you felt about writing it or why it was fun to write.
Whatever inspires you!

Can I use the Authors' Choice logo on my page or archive?
Yes. Feel free to save it and use it. I'd appreciate a link back to this site, too.

Can I create an Authors' Choice page for another fandom?
Yep! The more the merrier! First, notify Louise by email. Design your page, using
as much of the art and design from these pages as you wish. Include a link to the
X-Files Authors' Choice page. Plus a small credit to Louise Wu for the idea.
When your page launches, send Louise a link and info so she can link to your page, too.
